The Shelton Family

The Shelton family contacted me way back about doing a family session right after Christmas. Everyone would be in town and all the grand kids together! I was a tad worried with all the rain that we had this week that it might not happen. Thank goodness the rain stopped and we squeezed the session in. We got dripped on just a few times, but overall it stayed dry for us! Enjoy your sneak peek Sheltons. It was fun!

The Schultz Family - Live Strong!

Yesterday was cold. Well, cold for us anyways. It was high 40s low 50s and windy. :) That did not stop the awesome Schultz family from meeting up with me to do a family session. It has been a long time since these guys have had their pictures done. So they were due. :) This was a very special shoot. The head of this cute family, Brian, is celebrating being cancer free for a whole year! Yay!!!! They all decided to wear their "Live Strong" shirts to show that they kicked cancer right out the door! Bless you Schultz family! You all rock!

Merry Christmas

I want to say Merry Christmas to all of my clients. This year has been amazing! Words can not express how much I love capturing your special memories for you to have forever. I love to giggle at cute little kiddos pictures when their prints come in and gasp in awe at the enlargements. I know they all look stunning on your walls at home. It makes me smile when I receive all the beautiful Holiday cards with images from your sessions. You make my day. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year. 2011 will be great! I can't wait!


As of today I am taking a small break to be with my wonderful family. They have been so great during the crazy holiday season that starts for me in October. lol! Bless their hearts. I do have a few things I am working on after Christmas, but for the most part I am am chilling with family. We have cookies to bake, gingerbread houses to make, lots of hot coco sipping and Polar Express watching to do.


I have opened up my 2011 calendar and dates are booking up fast! If you are wanting a session please contact me before I get booked. I tend to get booked
1-2 months out so hurry! lol!

Miss Catherine - newborn

I ended my last session for the season with little Miss Catherine. She is only one week old and so adorable! So tiny and sleepy! Big brother Michael is in love with her too. :) The positive side of this weird heat streak we are having here in Houston is that I did the entire shoot outside! A newborn session...outside in December! lol! It was a nice and warm 85 here today! lol!

The Miller Family

I snuck in one last family session this weekend. I met up with the Millers again for a winter family session. This cute family just became a family of 4!

The Ritchie Family

This is the second time I have taken pictures of this cute family. About six months ago I took the twins newborns pictures. Wow! Time goes by so fast! It was a beautiful afternoon with a beautiful family! Thanks guys! Enjoy your sneaks!

The Green girls

This cold, cold, morning I met up with the gorgeous Green girls for a session. Their Mommy, Miss Chelsea, is the BEST preschool teacher ever! Ryan had her a few years ago and this year Kathleen is in her class. We just LOVE her! :)

We met up at the horse barn today. Miss McKinley rides there so it was the perfect spot for the session.

Zander & Zoe

I met up with the stunning Wallace kiddos last night for a winter sibling session. These children have got to be the most photogenic kids around. I swear they make my job look easy! lol! Not only is the beauty on the outside,but the inside as well. They are just so sweet! Zander and my Ryan went to preschool for 3 yrs together and I have really gotten to be wonderful friends with this family. They were one of my first clients 3 winters ago and still come back. lol! Last night I met with the super adorable Clements Family. We met at a cool location that still had lots of fall color! Little Harrison sure kept me on my toes the entire shoot. lol! The Herrera Family

I met the Herrera family yesterday morning. It was kinda chilly...about 48. lol! Big change from the night before when it was 80! haha! The sweet Herrera family was so much fun. The girls were so darling and their dresses were the cutest thing ever! Grandma and Grandpa came along to help make them smile...they sure did! Thank you guys! It was a great morning!

The Pickens Family

Last night I met with the awesome Pickens Family. Last year, I think their session was on the COLDEST day in December. lol! We were covering up with blankets the entire time. This year, it was probably the HOTTEST day in December. It was like 80 outside! lol! Got to love Texas weather. :)


I just LOVE this family. We started out in cute Christmas attire...






Then they changed into college jerseys that are so special to their family. What a great idea!!

The Buck Girls

The Hunt Girls

I met up with the precious Hunt girls again today for a fall mini session. Oh, these girls are so sweet! They know how to work the camera and the camera LOVES them! :) We had so much fun giggling on this girly shoot. Thank you Ava and Olivia! It was fun!

The Kennedy Family

I go back from vacation and back to work I went! :) I met up with the super cute Kennedy Family Monday afternoon. This was their rain out date because it poured on their original session date a few weeks ago. All day yesterday the sky was dark, hard rain showers came and went. Ugh! I was so worried. Then, right when it was session time it cleared right up. We got in some great shots! Yay!! On the way home, the sky got black again! lol! We sure lucked out! Enjoy your sneak you guys! Pennsylvania Thanksgiving Fun

On our trip last week we made the short drive to Pa to see the Anderson side of the family. First stop was to Waynesburg to see Grandma A. She has not been doing to well for the past few years and we make sure we always get up to visit her when we are in town. We love you Grandma A!


Then it was off to cousin Anita's AWESOME shop - Back Alley Shoppe. Oh my! This place is so great. I could shop for ever!! If you are ever up that way make sure you stop by. Fan her on facebook for sure! Back Alley Shoppe






Then is was off to meet up with cousins Amy & Angie and their families. Amy lives in the most beautiful home! My gosh, what a view! I swear her house is right out of a country magazine! Just beautiful!

Ryan and Kathleen had so much fun playing with Emily, Ethan, Josiah & Elijah.


First thing was the hay. I swear they could play on hay bales all day! lol!






Then Uncle David fired up the tractor...super fun!

Lastly, I decided to do a quick mini family session with Amy, David and their kids to celebrate their new home. I am so glad I did! They are so cute! Even the dog "cowboy" posed. haha!

Autumn and her boys

The past 8 days I have been up in Wv visiting my inlaws and all the family that lives up that way. It was a wonderful Thanksgiving! We are very blessed to have such wonderful families.

The first evening we were there I met up my with husband's cousin Autumn and her cutie twin boys. So she is what? My cousin in law? lol! Ryan and Kathleen LOVED playing with them at Wheeling Park. Autumn is expecting a little boy in March. She is going to have her hands full with all those cute boys running the house. Autumn, you need to put in an urinal - it will make your life so much easier! lol! We have friends that did that with 4 boys. :)


Anyhoo, we got in some fun shots with all the kids. You can totally tell they are related! I just love the light this time of year there! It was gorgeous!



Autumn is just glowing! I'm so glad I got to do a mini maternity session with her.

Grayson turned 4!

Grayson had the best birthday party on Sunday. Super heroes galore at the Children's Museum. Each child got their own adorable cape with their initial on it! Super cute!






The kids had so much fun playing and exploring the museum.






They even got to do a science project!





No party is complete with out pizza, cake and ice cream! Yum!

The Krenek Family

Last night I met up with the whole Krenek Family. We met out at Grandma & Grandpa's beautiful new home. We started out with some traditional Christmas shots while everyone was pretty much happy. lol!





Then the "toys" came out! I can see why the grand kids LOVE coming here! :)

The Worsham Family

I met up with the sweet Worsham family yesterday morning for a fall family session. We were kinda worried about the rain, but it held off for us! Yay! It was a tad hot,but hey we will take that. lol! Jack gave me some great smiles this session. He is such a cute! Enjoy your sneaks! :)

The Judge Boys

These sweet boys live right down the street from us. I get to see them twice a day at the bus stop! :) I was so happy when their momma asked me to do a quick mini fall session with them. The sky was a tad dark, but no rain! Yay! We had fun running, watching the ducks and playing a round or two of duck duck goose. :) I even got their sweet momma in a picture or two. Thanks boys! Max & Abbey

Little Miss Abbey has appeared on the blog a bunch of times. Isn't she darling?!? This session I got to include little Max too! Well, not really little! lol! This guy was born weighing in at 9lbs 1 oz!!! He still fit my newborn hats though. :) I'm so glad to meet you little Max! The Dalrymple Family

Last night I met up with the Dalrymple family at their beautiful home. They wanted to have a session with their cutie little grandson Cole. :) I have photographed Cole a few times already and was so excited that his grandmother and grandfather wanted in on the fun this time. :) I just love doing grandparents/grandchildren sessions - they are so special!

The Banzhaf Family

Last night I met the beautiful Banzhaf family for a family session. We met at a nice park with lots of room for the boys to run, run, run. Boy, did they run, run, run! haha!

These boys are awesome! They do not sit still for one second. Mom, you are amazing! I don't see how you do it. :) Kidding aside, these guys were great. Every once in a while a family comes along where a true life style session can be done. This was one of those. This session is one of my all time favorite sessions EVER! I got to capture a real family being just that...a FAMILY.


Just look at them! Wow!! I love the evening light that we had.





These boys are so funny! Totally all boy! I don't think they realize what it will be like soon when their new little sister is born. haha!

The Moore Family

On Saturday morning I met up with cute Moore Family. Oh, my! Just look at little Duncan! Those eyes - that hair! :)

What you can't tell here is that there was a 5k walk going on. lol! This park is usually quiet and calm. Not this day! All during our session, people and dogs were coming through the park...about 1,500 of them. lol! They kept Duncan entertained though and we got in some great shots! :)

Wyatt & Family

I met up with the Burrer family to get in some family shots and baby shots of little 5 week old Wyatt. It was a cool, brisk morning so most of the session took place inside their home. We did sneak out for a few minutes out doors though. :)

Wyatt is the cutest little man ever! His big sister Ashlyn just adores him too. This family is adjusting to life of being 4 just fine. Congrats you guys! :) Thank you Burrer family! It was a wonderful morning!
