I met the stunning McQuain family last night at East Shore. We were surrounded by dark clouds, but it never did rain. Yay! We got some great family shots in and some super cute little Miss Presley ones too. It was a very enjoyable evening. Thanks guys!

Nothing is Sweeter then Summertime

My morning shoot today got cancelled due to the little one getting an ear ache...poor baby! :( Since I was in the shooting mood, I took my kiddos out to get some darling summertime pictures in. The sky was rumbling, but we got some in before the rain. We even got to eat ice cream and play at the park a bit too. :)

Little Miss Peyton - Newborn

I got to spend Saturday evening over at the beautiful McQuain house to meet their new bundle of joy Peyton. She is just gorgeous! Big sis Aubrey agrees. :)

Miss Harper is Two

I had the great pleasure to capture the fun filled birthday part of little Miss Harper. What a day!!! Her mommy sure knows how to throw a party. She thought of every last detail! This super cute polk a dot cupcake birthday was full of love. All her family and friends were there to help celebrate.


All the details were beautiful!





When it got too hot outside, everyone came in and made the most awesome sunglasses!





Then it was cupcake time! Yummy!!! :)

Fallen in love with Nashville

I am back from Nashville, and I am in love with the city! Everything about it! Having gone to school in Wv (and having a husband from there) I miss the mountains. TN is just gorgeous! I want to live there!!!!

Our trip started out kinda rough with a 3 hour delay in Houston and then a super bumpy flight. We got in about midnight. Then it got sooooo much better!


Our first day was the Brad Paisley Party. My best friend Sara and I have husbands both from his hometown in Wv so we wore our WV tees to support him. :) We got a ton of attention too. Fans were coming up to us all day asking questions and such. It was funny! It was super hot, but the party was at a cove so there was water everywhere. It was a small party of about 500 people. We had fun hanging out and had great food. His band members mingled about the fans and took turns in the dunk tank. We got to meet Storme Warren & Nan Kelley from GAC so that was cool.








Brad hit the stage and did not disappoint. He put on a great show as always! After the concert we got to have a meet & great with Brad and had our photo taken with him. He was super nice!






The next few days we tried to pack in as much as we could. We toured the Hermitage, ate at the Loveless Cafe (best fried chicken EVER!!!) shopped historic downtown Franklin, and enjoyed some wine at Kix Brooks's Winery -Arrington Vineyards Such a wonderful spot!






We then just had to go downtown Nashville to CMA Fest. It was Awesome! We took in all the sights, Ryman Auditorium , Country Music Hall of Fame, Ernest Tubb Record Shop and popped in some Honky Tonks.





We were really bummed getting on that flight home to Houston. I will be back for sure! I love it there!

Nashville Bound

I am off to Nashville with my best friend for a much needed girls weekend. It is CMA Fan Fair and we are ready to relax and have fun!!! Who knows what we will get into, but I will for sure have my camera along to capture it! lol!

I laughed last night when I checked us in on our flight and I had to print the boarding passes on pink paper... thats all I had. Hey, it girls weekend so its ok right? lol!


I am super excited that we got tickets to see my country crush Brad Paisley perform as well. I can't wait!!

The Kaye Family

I had the great pleasure to photograph a beautiful family on Sunday morning. All the adult kids were in town visiting with their families so it was the perfect time! Last time they had a group picture done the littlest young lady was not born yet! :) You might recognize Mr & Mrs Kaye from the sweet bluebonnets pictures they did with their twin grand children this past spring. They were gorgeous!
