Back to School

It is August. Can you believe it? Summer went by super fast! We still have 2 weeks left of summer break and we are packing in as much fun as we can. Lots of swimming, playing, river fun and zoo trips our in our future.

My kids know that I take tons of pictures of them - everywhere we go. lol! To ease the back to school jitters the first day I always take their back to school pictures before hand. I get more smiles, less mom (enter eyeroll) and it really gets them "ready" for school. Plus, on a already kinda hectic first day of school morning it is one last thing I have to worry about. I do snap that picture of them with their backpacks on going into school though...I just have to. :)



We had a great evening taking these. Miss K is super excited about entering Kindergarten. Mr. R has been prepping her all summer. haha! He is excited to see his friends again as he enters 2nd grade. I am ready to get back to a routine. My house is ready too. Finally when I clean it it will stay clean for more then 10 minutes. haha!


My babies are growing up! I will not cry on the first day of school. I will not cry on the first day of school. If I keep telling myself this maybe it will happen. :)

Cole - senior pictures

Cole is headed off to school next week to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  Life was busy last year and he never took his senior pictures.  I was so happy when his mom called me up to take them this week.  He is such a talented athlete and artist.  His work is beautiful!  Have a great time at school this fall Cole!  You will do amazing work!

Miss Kara

Yesterday I met sweet little Miss Kara for her newborn shoot. She is perfect. Just a doll!  Her big sister is so happy to have her as well. :) She hardly ever cried and had perfect eye contact with her awesome mommy! It was amazing!  There is  lots of pink in this household.  yay!  Welcome to the world little Kara! Enjoy your sneaks!

Master Landry

Tuesday I met up with Master Landry for his newborn pictures.  Oh my!  What a cutie!  His parents are pros with this baby thing.  lol!   His house is full of laughter and love.  Congrats!  Welcome to the world little Landry!
