Texas Beauties - Bluebonnets

Tuesday afternoon was another beautiful day in Texas. I just LOVE this time of year! I had two bluebonnet minis last night and they were AWESOME!

First up were the darling Hunt girls. I have photographed them a few times before and they always get great images. They just "pop" off my camera lens. They are true naturals














Then came Kelly & Michael

These two were great! Up for anything! I love that type of client! I dig Michael's side smile ... too cute! :)






I love how he is looking at her in this ♥ ♥




As the session went on we got some really yummy sunset golden light. Mmmmmmmm. :)

Sweet Caroline - 1yrs old

I met up with little Miss Sweet Caroline this past Sunday at Mercer Arboretum for her 1 yr old portraits. She is a doll! Smiled on command and all! I keep humming "Sweet Caroline" to myself as I edited these. lol! It was a beautiful day with a very beautiful little Miss. :) Enjoy !

Sunday Photo day - a very busy day

Sunday was a Super busy day!! I started out early in the morning doing a couple mini shoot with my brother and soon to be sister-in-law. I dragged them out into a field for some fun shots and then of course some bluebonnets..... I love early morning golden light!

Then after church I headed over to Mercer for an adorable 1 yr old photo shoot. Her sneeks will be up soon so check back in a bit!

Kelsey's Bridal Peeks - bluebonnet style

My beautiful soon to be sister-in-law arrived into town from Colorado late last night for her bridal shower here in Tx. So what did I do? I dragged her into the bluebonnets of course for some bridal pictures! lol! My brother, the Texan that he is, insisted that his bride have them as well! He already has a spot on his desk at work for a bluebonnet picture of his beautiful bride after they tie the knot. He does not want to see her in her dress though until the wedding so these are really just peek pictures. I will post actual dress shots later in August. Until then here are a few of her ring. Andy did good! huh?!?! It just sparkles!!

Spring has Sprung

Spring is here! Bye bye 50 degree weather hello sunshine! The weather is just beautiful this time of year. Still a cool 65-75 but full of sunshine! This time of year every true Texan knows that it is Bluebonnet season!!! It is rite of passage for every Texan to have their child's picture taken in the Texas state flower each year. It is a sin not too! lol! This evening starts my crazy spring season known as bluebonnet season. You will be seeing the cutest families and kids around frolicking around these gorgeous blooms here on the blog these next few weeks.


First up, little Reid. This little guy was full of smiles and energy. What a great way to start out the season!

Then right before sunset came the stunning Armstrong family.





Last time I saw them just a few short months ago little Miss Camden was about to be born. She is just gorgeous!!!

The Danielsen Boys

Wow! We got very lucky today! I met the cutie Danielsen boys early this morning for a shoot. We got a bit wet, but right after we left the park sky the fell out! I am so happy they came early so we got all of our shoot in. These boys are ADORABLE! I just love the dynamics of these brothers. Oh, how I would love to be a fly on the wall in their house for a day. I'm sure they keep their momma on her toes. Thank you Danielsen boys for such a great morning. I know getting up super early on a Saturday was not exactly what you wanted to do, but it was sure well worth it! You guys are great!
