Ryan's Dino Dig Super Fun 7th Birthday!!

My sweet Ryan turned 7 yrs old on Saturday! Where does the time go? I swear he was just born! Now he is in 1st grade, a cub scout...slow down time! Your going too fast! lol!

Ryan asked me this summer for a big dinosaur birthday party. I saw that my friend Samantha of Perky Party needed a boys birthday party for her portfolio so I jumped at the chance. Ryan and I met with her this summer to plan out his perfect Dino Dig Party. Ryan was really excited and had so many ideas. Samantha brought them to life!

As the children arrived to our house they were directed to the back yard where they stepped into a fantastic rain forest. The tables were decorated so cute with dinosaurs, ferns and even dry ice for the awesome Jurassic experience! Every detail such as the water bottles, goody boxes, and candy station had a adorable dinosaur emblem on it to tie it all together.

The Dino dig was great! A mixture of plaster of paris, sand, and seltzer made a cool way to dig for hidden fossils. The kids were armed with digging tools and brushes as they searched for hidden bones. They got down and dirty! That is what being a kid is all about!

Each child also had their own personal dig kit at their seat as well. I have never seen so many kids before intently digging away. It kept them occupied for a long time! lol!

Next up came delicious pizza from our family favorite Brother's Pizza

Then came the coolest dinosaur cake and present time.

We topped it all off with the best dinosaur pinata ever! It came from Party city. It was so big! I have been to lots of parties with pinatas, but this one stayed together so everyone got a chance to hit it, but came apart as well so the parents did not even have to help!

Ryan had a blast at his party! It will be one that he talks about for a long time!

Happy Birthday Sweet Ryan! I love you!!!!
