Cullen turned one!

I am running out the door to trick or treat, but I wanted post this first. I got to take Cullen's family pictures before his first birthday party - Halloween style! I'll post those sneaks tomorrow. Here is Cullen inside with his cake. :) yummy!

Wyatt & Family

I met up with the Burrer family to get in some family shots and baby shots of little 5 week old Wyatt. It was a cool, brisk morning so most of the session took place inside their home. We did sneak out for a few minutes out doors though. :)

Wyatt is the cutest little man ever! His big sister Ashlyn just adores him too. This family is adjusting to life of being 4 just fine. Congrats you guys! :) Thank you Burrer family! It was a wonderful morning!

I met up with these two ADORABLE little girls this evening. Oh, my! They were perfect! Smiles all round! We even got mom and dad to jump in a few shots. :) Everything about the evening was perfect...we even had nice cool weather!

The O'Leary Family

Last night I met up with the O'Leary Family for a fall family session. We had some nice weather - I was a tad worried in the morning with all those rain clouds. It never did rain though! These guys are no strangers to the blog. :) Once again, we got in some great shots. This time the boys did not keep me running. It was a nice change! lol! The Kennedy Family

Last night I met up with the cute Kennedy family for the first time. This family of 6 was wonderful! The big kids are such great helpers with their twin little sisters. It was so cute to watch them. :) We walked around a near by park and got in some nice fall shots. Yes, we do get a bit of color down here. lol! Thank you Kennedy family! It was fun. The Burns Family

I met The Burns Family bright and early this morning. Holley and I went to High School together and reconnected through Facebook. I just love Facebook. I am kinda addicted. Haha! Anyways, we have not seen each other in what...16yrs! Man we are getting old! :) It was fun to see her and her beautiful family. :) I know she is a bit worried about how the pictures will turn out because little Miss Brooke was having a hard morning. :) I wanted to hurry up and get a sneak peek up to show her that we got in some GREAT shots! :) Little Brody is so sweet & fun. He sure keeps mom and dad on their toes! Thank you Burns Family for a wonderful morning. Holley, let's not make it another 16 yrs before we see each other again! lol! Enjoy!

Kathleen's 4th Birthday - Madeline Style

So in the mist of it being super crazy holiday season for me ( a photographer's Christmas starts in October! lol!) my sweet little girl turned 4yrs old. She wanted a Madeline themed Tea Party at home.... soooo she got one! :)


Kathleen and I greeted all the guest at the door - me dressed as Miss Clavel and Kathleen as Madeline. We all sat down and I read a Madeline story to the girls. Then, they each got their very special Paris shopping bag to use as we stepped into the living room to "shop" in Paris.







First stop was the Clothing Shop. Waiting for each little girl with a card that said "Made especially for their name" was their own handmade Madeline caplet and yellow hat. They quickly put them on. The room was then filled with little Madelines!!!!





In Two straight lines we then moved on to the Flower Shop. There, they picked flowers out of buckets and put together pretty bouquets and tied them with yellow ribbons.




We traveled to the next store which was the very popular Candy Shop . They filled their pretty yellow cartons with yummy treats!





The Art Studio was last. The Girls loved coloring wonderful pictures of Madeline and her friends.






We all lined up in two straight lines and we moved into the dining room where the Tea Party was all set up for them. They dined with real china plates, tea cups and cloth napkins. Inside the little white boxes were Eiffel Tower charm necklaces. They enjoyed jelly sandwiches, crescent rolls, cheese, pepperoni ,fruit & lemonaide . It was so cute to sit back and watch them. We would here "please pass the fruit" ...all were using their lady like manners! :)









Yummy "Yellow Hat" Cake and ice cream was next. It was so cute while they were all eating Kathleen said to everyone "I am enjoying my Madeline Birthday so much!"






After they young ladies were finished, we moved back into the living room where Kathleen opened her wonderful gifts. Miss Clavel then brought out a giant bowl of popcorn and the girls watched a short Madeline cartoon. We then moved out side for pictures. :)






I think all the little Madelines had a great time! Thank you so much for sharing Kathleen's special day with her!

The King Family

This is one of those shoots that made me smile. I smiled the minute these guys got out of the car...awesome outfit choices! These guys were so nice and so much fun. They kept me laughing the entire time. :) They have a great family dynamic going on. Thank you King family! It was a pleasure! Enjoy your sneaks!

The Guidry Girls

This evening I met up with the cute Guidry twins for some Christmas card shots. They always have the most adorable clothes thanks to their mom and her awesome boutique - Abella Boutique Check it out! You will love it! Also, come check out her booth at this year's Junior League Holiday Market November 19, 20, & 21. You will love all the shopping! It will really get you into the Christmas Spirit!!! :)

I met up with the adorable Wedemeyer Family last night for some family shots. It was a tad hot outside, but suffered through it. :)

We had fun walking around enjoying the nice (but hot) evening. A cool breeze finally made its way at the end. :) We got in some great shots though!

The Kunstman Family

This morning started bright and early with a super cool shoot with the Kunstman family. This cute family has grown in the past few months by two! :) I last saw them a few months ago when the twins were newborns. They seem to be adjusting great to their growing family. :) Mom found an awesome location. It was a short drive but soooooo worth it! We got in some great shots!! The Riggs Family

I swear, I get the most gorgeous clients! The Riggs family met me bright and early this morning and I knew right away the camera was going to love them. It sure did!!!

We had fun running around in the nice brisk morning air. Finally, we have some autumn weather! :) The adorable sweaters were very much needed! :)

This evening was a perfect evening. I met the fun Dupaquier family for a family session. Little Kaden is about to turn 1 so we got some birthday boy shots in as well. This family is so cute. Little Kaden was not too happy because he has several teeth coming in, but one by one each family member stepped in to comfort him. This family is full of love. :)

Miss Olivia

I had the pleasure of meeting little Miss Olivia this beautiful morning. Wow! What a perfect morning it was! I was so happy when her mommy contacted me to do a newborn session with her...outside! I just LOVE outside newborn sessions. :)

Olivia is PERFECT. Not a cry came from her. She and her mommy were up for anything. We had a fun morning dressing Miss Olivia up in a bunch of girly things. :)

The Hunter Family

Last night I met up with the Hunter Family. I last saw them during Bluebonnet season...I can't believe how big the kiddos are getting! We once again had the most beautiful evening light for their session - my favorite light!! This family is the model family - I swear they all have these eyes that just pop in photographs. :)

This past Sunday I headed down to League City to do a few mini sessions with a fun playgroup. I have done minis with this group several times...I just LOVE them! It is neat to see all the kids as they grow up! This time we had not only family shots,but a few maternity & an engagement session too! :)

HARVEST THE HOPE

Wow! Thank you all for coming out on Saturday to participate in the first annual HARVEST THE HOPE Pumpkin Patch Portraits to support The Will Herndon Fund for Juvenile Batten Research

It was such an incredible day. We had the most beautiful weather and the cutest kids ever!!! Thank you all for being so generous.

Baby Carley - Newborn

I had the great honor to capture the cutest baby newborn girl this evening! Miss Carley is just 10 days old and just so perfect! :) The entire shoot was outdoors, which I just LOVE! Miss Carley's parents are so easy going! Little Reid was there too to watch and enjoyed showing off his new baby sister to me :) Enjoy your sneak peeks Kelley Family! Carley is just darling!

Princess Evyn
