Pumpkin Fun Playdate

I had an awesome group of ladies ask me to come to a play date and take some pumpkin patch pictures for them. It was so much fun! Each group that came had gave their own personality to the shoot. We had all emotions too - happy faces, grumpy little ones, pumpkin throwers, a few tears. All in all it went fantastic! Each group got in some super cute shots. We had perfect weather as well. Autumn is on its way! Yay!!! Thank you mommies! It was a pleasure! Enjoy your sneaks!

Ryan turned Six!!!

On Friday, my little Ryan turned six. I can't believe he is six! Wow! Time flies by so fast. He had a great day at school and then we had a great birthday dinner that evening. :)


On Saturday was his party for a few of his little friends. Ryan is way into Legos, so he wanted a Lego party. He also is into planes and anything that flies. We love going to the Aviator's Grill at Hooks Airport. They have the best food! lol! The kids love to watch the planes and helicopters take off and land there. It was a great spot to to hold his "Lego Airplane" party. :)



I made a lego cake and each child got their own lego set to put together. It was a hit!






The kids dined on grilled cheese, cheeseburgers & fries. They worked hard on their lego creations!





Next up was cake & ice cream time!






We then headed over to United Flight Systems
They were so kind to us and brought out a plane for all the kids to look at. They told us all about the plane and then let the kids get inside and "fly". They LOVED it!

We then ended the party with a Lego pull string pinata filled with legos and candy






All the kids were tired and full of food when it was over. It was a SUPER FUN party!

The Oliver Foundation

I met up on Sunday evening in Houston with
The Oliver Foundation They are a fantastic organization dedicated to the prevention of childhood obesity. Their current efforts are directed towards physical activity and healthy eating solutions for children and families. They have an awesome Teen Board made up of students from all over Houston. They energize kids and teens to be more health conscious through community and school outreach projects.

They were in need of some new pictures for their website and awareness materials. We all met up and had so much fun on the shoot. Thank you all! I am in awe of the great work that you do. Enjoy your sneak peeks!

The Hunter Family

I love Old Town Spring. I love that each time I come across something new there. Each session that I do has its own "feel". I met up with the Hunter Family there to do some family portraits Saturday evening. It was a bit over casted but it never did rain. Yay!

This momma stays busy with 3 boys! I just love the dynamics of this family - they had me laughing the whole time. It was such a fun shoot! Enjoy your sneak peeks guys! :)

The Miller Family

Finally! A somewhat cooler morning! I met the Miller family this beautiful morning to take their family portraits. It was a bit cooler then normal - maybe under 90. Haha! It did not last long though - half way though the shoot the heat was back. That did not stop us from getting some great shots in! Little Jake is the cutest thing ever! He enjoyed running around and playing. I love that they brought their dog, Murphy, as well! So fun!

Miss Jarvis

I met up with Jarvis this evening at The Woodlands Waterway for a fun shoot. We lucked out with the weather. It poured about 30 minutes before we started. It is so dang hot out though that it dried so fast that you can't even tell. lol! We had a great evening of non stop laughing! Jarvis is a pro! She is just beautiful! Thanks girl for a fantastic evening!

Baby Bella

I had the pleasure to meet up with little Miss Bella for her 6 month portraits this morning. She is a living doll! She was so serious the whole time. Adorable! She has 3 older brothers who just adore her as well. They came along too to watch. I made them jump in a shot though. Just wait boys, you can already tell that Miss Bella rules the roost. lol! Kaylyn is 6yrs old!

Wow! I have watched this little one grow up right before my eyes! She has graced the blog many times in the past few years, but this shoot really opened my eyes that she is growing up! She is in Kindergarten now and such a sweet, beautiful girl! She came prepared with 3 outfits yesterday morning that are totally "her" :)
We had fun walking around Old Town Spring finding some great spots for her shoot. We got there super early to beat out the shoppers and the other photogs. lol! We had the entire town to ourselves for most of it. It was GREAT!

The Baptism of Camden Elyse

Last Sunday I had the pleasure of attending the very special baptism of the beautiful little Miss Camden Elyse. The ceremony was just delightful! The Church would not allow photography of course during the ceremony so we took time outside to get some shots afterwards with all the wonderful family that came to celebrate with her. Everyone headed over to the Macaroni Grill for a nice luncheon following the ceremony. Thank you Armstrong family for allowing me to capture this blessed event for you!
