The Montgomery Family

I met the beautiful Montgomery Family on Sunday ......all 19 of them plus the dog. It was so much fun! What a blessing to have such a wonderful family! I had the pleasure to hang out with them again this year to capture their extended family pictures since everyone was in town over the holidays. Thank you guys! You are the best!!!!

The Miller Family

I met the Miller family this past cold & wet Sunday over in Kingwood. I was excited when they called me - I grew up there and have not been back in a long time. It was fun to see things that have changed over the years. I can't believe the old Burger King is now a Starbucks! lol! Anyways, this family was great. Little Ava is a doll! Mom and Dad came prepared with the perfect colored tarp to use on the wet ground. We were good to go! I just love the colors from this session. The Pickens

Last time I met up with these beautiful girls it was bluebonnet season. I was so pleased when I got an email from mom asking me to take their family pictures for Christmas. These girls are so sweet! Saturday evening was a cold one, but they came prepared with the most adorable Christmas blankets to keep warm. Great idea y'all! I had so much fun with you guys! Enjoy your pictures!

Little Cailan

I met little 2 year old Mr. Cailan Saturday afternoon. It had warmed up a bit, but it was still chilly! That did not seem to bother him AT ALL! lol! He was so funny. I was a tad worried at first when he got out of the car and said to me "no camera - go away!" lol! We took a nice stroll around East Shore - he was on the go the whole entire time! I got some good shots of the real "him" though. He is an adorable "all boy" little one for sure! :)


At first since he did not want anything to do with me - we got some shots like this! lol!






He started to warm up a bit, and then I got some real shots of him being "him"



















Mr. Cailan is going to be a big brother really, really soon. Like in 2 weeks! I got some great shots of him spending a bit alone time with his beautiful momma!

The Day Family

I met this awesome family on Saturday morning. It was like 29 outside!!!! There was ice all over the ground. lol! They were troopers though. We got some great shots! Thank you guys! I really enjoyed your session. :)

Sweet Clara & George

Twins. Aw , twins. Nothing puts a smile on your face more then sweet little newborn twins. They are so tiny - cute tiny feet, and fingers. Love them! Almost makes me want another one. lol!

They are 3 weeks old and so cute and tiny. They came home from the NICU just in time for Thanksgiving. Mom and Dad had 2 wonderful Thanksgiving blessings this year.

The Herndon Boys are Back

On my way out of town for Thanksgiving I stopped off at the park to squeeze in a short shoot with the Herdnon boys. What a fitting day to do it too. I know I am so thankful that I have known this awesome family for a few years now. They have really touched not only my heart but the whole The Woodlands community as well.

Their oldest son, Will, was recently diagnosed this past June with Juvenile Batten Disease - a fatal, inherited disorder of the nervous system. This family is not giving into it. They are fighters! The Will Herndon Fund for Juvenile Batten Research was formed a few months ago and at the first fundraiser "Hope Under the Stars" well over $200,000 was raised. This is probably the most touching photo I have taken in a long time. The foundation sells these beautiful necklaces that Missy is wearing here. It says "Will" and Hope, Faith, Pray, Courage. You can find out more info on the site very shortly if you too would like to purchase one. I'm sure you have already seen women walking around town wearing them. :) I love that Will has his eyes closed in the photo hugging his mom. It is very touching.

I mean really. They are so loving! When baby Magnus took a spill, Steele and Will were right there to pick him up, dust off his pants and give him a big hug. That is true brotherly love.
